Mark Hodgson

I specialise on the innovation and proposition development of new commercially driven circular and sharing business models. My background is business development, technology and markets having worked for international companies to local SMEs. My circular business journey started when studying my MBA and working with Ray Anderson who was CEO of Interface in 2002. I’m also director of Co-cars ltd, the largest SW car sharing club and Co-bikes the UK’s first on-street electric bike hire network. When not thinking about work, I travel, cycle and walk anywhere.

I love working on business model change – helping businesses create more value, profit and stability by embracing the circular economy. My background is in manufacturing, business management, resource efficiency and circular business models.
When I’m not working, I’m often out in the fresh air enjoying the countryside.

Kristina Bull
I thoroughly enjoy developing strong and prosperous relationships across all the projects I manage, working with clients spanning a diverse range of business types and industries. Being able to bring event ideas to life and facilitate projects to make real improvements on business practices is incredibly rewarding. I have specific knowledge and passion for improving supply chain interactions and sustainability practices of clothing brands and retailers, working across industry from supermarkets, high street brands through to luxury.

Clare Ollerenshaw
I am a circular economy specialist with strengths in developing circular economy plans for cities, stakeholder engagement and project management. I facilitated, wrote and undertook initial implementation of the London circular economy route map, with the aim of accelerating the process across the capital. I love working out how organisations and communities in a city can collaborate effectively to start to deliver a more circular economy. Singing and helping out at my local community farm keeps me out of trouble at the weekends.

Jennifer Bain
I help organisations to reduce their environmental impact and enable the implementation of sustainability and environmental strategies across the product and project life cycle. With a background in retail and construction I thrive on connecting people as demonstrated by my leadership of WRAP’s Sustainable Clothing Action Plan. I specialise in working from within an organisation to embed and deliver with internal teams and their value chains. I’ve enabled large clients to deliver their carbon reduction programmes and sustainable construction strategies by setting measurable KPIs and targets; creating tools to monitor; embed performance standards in procurement and communication. I am a qualified project manager (MAPM) and associate of the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability. When not working, l like to get out of the city in my camper van climb up hills, and stare at the sea.

Nicki Chennells
I am a Chartered Marketer with strengths in planning, project management, copywriting and delivery.  I specialise in providing realistic and effective marketing support to SMEs looking to become more competitive and grow their businesses.  With a particular interest in environmental and wider sustainability issues, I work with many clients in remanufacturing, reuse and recycling and those with strong community values.  I could be seen as slightly hypocritical as I divide my time between the UK and the French Alps.

Annie Beavis
I specialise in helping businesses develop and grow to achieve better outcomes, recognising that better is not only measured in financial terms but in delivering positive social and environmental impacts. I have extensive experience in devising, marketing and growing business services in the sustainability sector and in particular have helped scope, develop, launch and grow successful circular business models.  Whilst I love working on new projects, as a novice sailor I have most fun when playing on (or more often in) the water.

Nick James
I help clients maximise shared value from creating a better built environment. With a background in architecture and sustainability, I thrive at using my technical knowledge, design thinking approach and engagement skills to deliver positive outcomes. Through Futureground I provide strategic advisory services, consultancy and project management to a wide range clients and at all stages of the property lifecycle. My bookshelves are lined with near future science fiction, OS Explorer maps, sustainability texts, Millers collector’s guides, cookery books and architectural publications.
